I actually found some time to sit down and talk to you all. My new babygirl (my puppy Rozay) is at the house in her Doggy House chilling...I hope. I don't have school work due today...and I don't have to work till tomorrow. Man I live a busy life. So many things I have yet to understand about the music industry. Not about the logistics behind it but the part where I have to separate Justin from Jus Nice. I'm so focused that I'm loosing people close to me but I'm gaining people who are admiring what I'm accomplishing. I have so many people pulling me from so many angles its unreal but I'm not complaining just learning to take it in stride.

Sometimes I even come to battle with myself. Justin has school and bills to worry about but Jus Nice has a music career he is working for. Do I pay a bill or do I get cds???? I'm enjoying life on the road and this grind and the unexpected things that I'm accomplishing but I'm missing a lot of time with my friends and family. My family misses me a lot. Lost one of my cousins that was there for me when my mother passed but nobody from my family told me because I was in ATL at BET Weekend (Hip Hop Awards) and they didn't want me to loose focus. I'm still trying to come to terms with the lose.

Things are working in my favor. Even when the clouds try to hide the sunshine still some of its glow gets through. I have a great support system behind me. Sometimes when I lose motivation I get motivated by how hard they are working for me. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for them.

I've come to the decision of just going hard regarding my life and music. If I end up homeless because I've invested all of my money and time in music then so be it but I'd rather have tried and not succeed than to not try and could have succeeded.

Just my thoughts at the moment

Friday I got a text from a "female" saying that I'm changing. This is not the first time I've heard this. A lot of my friends say I'm changing.... but they can never pin point what has changed about me. I know for A FACT I'VE CHANGED...but I'm starting to see that people are getting upset because I'm not changing into what they want me to become..but I'm changing into what I need to become. THIS CRAZY LIFE OF MINE. Jah tells me I'm too humble yet people say I'm too arrogant. I can't please everybody so just take me as I am...Jus Nice. I've lost some friends on this journey but also gained many. I wish people would understand that I CAN'T TEXT OR CALL AND TALK TO YOU EVERYDAY. People are starting to become selfish regarding me and not taking into consideration how hard i'm working PLUS BALANCING SCHOOL..SMH. LET ME WORK LOL.

ON A LIGHT NOTE.....

Working on this album. Haven't even got the first track yet but I'M WORKING. In the meantime I'm just remixing songs to keep myself in shape - lyrically. Still haven't pushed "Karma" the way it needs to be pushed but the whole team is about too.

Crazy how my life is changing. People are starting to know who I am now. I made my first toast with champagne with the brothers that night. I never imagined I would be having this type of success. I want more. My attitude is even changing, I'm learning to demand respect not only with my music but how I carry myself. I'm more confident now. Jah told me last night that "Everything you see is another lesson" I tried to say something but he said "Don't talk just let what I said sit in your head." I understand now. I know I've been slacking on the posting and everything. Believe when I say its getting harder and harder lol. Where do I start..I was in one of the best studio's in ATL recording with Super-Producer Nate Butler http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nate_Butler and I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE. He does a lot of pop music and it brought great challange because I'm a really laid back type of artist. Now I'm trying to branch out and push my creativity to the limits. The whole team was there...Jah, Stack, and Trell. We also had some beautiful ladies there as well. To be honest I never got nervous. I was ready to write and record. Shout out to Nate Butler. I can't complain about life right now. Been recording like crazy. Just trying to work on my delivery and trying to bring out more intense metaphors. I always try to tell myself to stay humble because I know there are people out there that can rap laps around me, so I'm just trying to stay myself and do WHAT I DO...NOT ANYONE ELSE lol. Just found out I should be graduating next december so I'm happy about that...almost done. Been thinking about life and what I'm going to do if I don't get this record deal....but everyone keeps telling me to speak it into existence..so thats what I'm doing.

The highlight of the week was when I went to "Google" and typed in "Jus Nice" and I didn't press enter and all the suggested searches were "Jus Nice Karma", "Jus Nice Insecure" and you can do the rest...I WENT NUTS. YES I STILL GO NUTS OVER THINGS LIKE THAT...just because thats me and my teams hard work. I'm proud of my accomplishments.

Bout to go to Econ like usual...but let me leave you with these words of wisdom:

I know I've been slacking on the blogging. Haven't had anytime to myself these past couple of days. Things are looking up regarding my career. After meeting with Ray Daniels (A&R for Universal/Motown) a week before he decided to come to Greenwood, SC to see me perform at my Halloween Party. IT WAS PACKED....ABOUT 500 PEOPLE. He was more than impressed, just waiting on this call so I can fly to NY. Praying and trying to stay focused. Its hard to really stay focused when your life can change in the matter of a day...better yet a couple of words but until then I got to keep on studying and hitting these books. Feels good to have support from school "Lander University"

Did I say I haven't had time for myself...smh. A lot of my friends just expect me to drop what I'm doing to chill or talk with them and I just can't right now. Example..I was bowling last night and I actually got a text saying "Your not too busy to go bowling" DAMN CAN I HAVE SOME TIME TO MYSELF LOL but just another deleted number cause I don't have the time or energy to be stressed out by ANYBODY.

"Karma" is doing really well. Feels good when people you don't know tell you that your music is good.

Let me get to this Econ cause I got a test Thursday.

I know I've been slacking on the post. Last week was a stressful week for me. Thinking bout Mom Dukes a lot and decided to vent so I wrote this song called "Encore" which is the first song I ever talked about Mom Dukes in but I'm doing alright now. I finally got some sleep. Woke up feeling tired but I felt a lot more rested then I have been feeling the past month. Sitting, waiting for class on my mac book (Jay Allen GOOD LOOK) I ran across an article Gyant from http://gyantunplugged.com posted and he listed me as a celebrity. It blew my mind away. Well I started kinda going crazy but to me that means alot. I've never been this mentally and physically tired. Put like 3,000 miles on my car in about 3 weeks. Working on this new cd "Karma" and performing and trying to get shows. Promoting myself like crazy. Now school has started back and thats a whole nother issue by itself. Don't get me wrong I'm happy but just tired. The relationships I have with my countless friends are starting to disappear. Got to keep moving. I'm supposed to be reading for this Humanities class..I swear I don't think my teacher has a life sometimes out of school but he is a good teacher. I really need to take a nap but got so much on my mind. Well I got 9 tracks done for my cd and I'm shooting for 10 to 11 with about 1-2 skits.
